Squash calories burned calculator calculates calories burned based on playing squash time, and your weight.
How to Calculate Squash Calories Burned
Different activities have different MET values, the greater the MET value, the more calories burned.
In general, playing squash has a MET value of 7.
To calculate calories burned while playing squash, use the following formula:
MET x Body Weight x 3.5 / 200 x time, where
Body weight unit = kg
Time unit = minutes
MET = 7
Example
For example, if a person weighs about 160 pounds (72.57 kg) and plays squash for 1 hour,
it burns around 533 kcal.
The calculation is:
7 x 72.57 kg x 3.5 / 200 x 60 minutes = 533 kcal.
